 The Journal of Agroecology is a scientific-research journal that receives articles in the following fields:

- Agricultural research activities relying on the protection of natural resources and the environment and increase the efficiency and productivity of water and soil resources and chemical inputs

- Crop management with the use of biological inputs

- Conservation tillage operations and related activities

- Crop management with a minimum of reliance on off-farm inputs

- Field operations with mixed cropping and cultivation of cover crops

- Integrated operations in agricultural management

-Utilization of Alternative resources of water and soil

- Use of forgotten, underutilized, and new crops

- Utilizing quantitative equations in production factors and modeling plant growth and development

- Yield monitoring methods and yield gap assessment studies

- Application of physiology principles in understanding ecological relationships and increasing crop efficiency

- Life cycles assessment in crop production

- Climatic zoning and agro-ecological zoning

-The use of crop residues for biofuel production

-The use of alternative energy sources in agricultural ecosystems

- Application of biological fertilizers, use of mycorrhiza, and nitrogen-fixing bacteria

- Application of compost and similar products

- Soil remediation through biological processes

- Ecological management of pests, diseases, and weeds using biological relationships and integrated operations

- Carbon sequestration operations and reduction of greenhouse gases

- The use of medicinal plants in rotation or combination with crops

- Agricultural operations to improve biodiversity

- Agricultural ecology and indigenous knowledge

- Economic analysis of crop production based on ecological economics perspectives

Article Processing Charge(APCs)

The Journal of Agroecology does not receive any money from authors for initial review of articles. However, articles that are accepted after the judging process must pay two million rials for editing and publishing articles.
